Welcome to PetBizNetwork (“PBN,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our website at https://petbiznetwork.com, directory, or any of our related services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

  • Eligibility: Membership is open only to U.S.-based pet businesses and advertisers that are properly insured and licensed, and that maintain a professional website under their own domain name.
  • Professional Standards: All members must adhere to our Code of Ethics. Violations may result in suspension or removal.
  • Payments: Stripe is our third-party processor. All recurring memberships and ad fees are handled securely through Stripe.
  • Listings: Directory listings are vetted before publication. PBN reserves the right to deny or remove listings that do not meet eligibility or ethical standards.
  • Intellectual Property: All content on PBN is protected and may not be copied, scraped, or republished without written consent.
  • Liability: PBN is a platform and does not guarantee the performance or safety of any member business. Pet parents must do their own due diligence before hiring.
  • Termination: PBN may suspend or terminate accounts for non-compliance, non-payment, or unethical conduct. You have 10 business days after termination to remove the PetBizNetwork membership badge from your website and marketing materials.
  • Governing Law: These Terms are governed by U.S. federal law and the laws of the state of Georgia.

Full Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

PBN membership and directory listings are open exclusively to U.S.-based pet businesses and advertisers.

  • Members must hold active business insurance appropriate to their niche (e.g., pet sitting, grooming, training, veterinary care, or retail).
  • Members must hold valid local, state, and federal licenses or permits.
  • Members must maintain a professional website under their own domain name. Sites hosted on platforms such as Rover or Care do not qualify.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to operate a business in the U.S.

2. Membership & Directory Listings

  • All members must agree to and uphold the PBN Code of Ethics.
  • Membership tiers and benefits are outlined on our Membership page.
  • PBN may request proof of eligibility (e.g., insurance or licensing).
  • Basic listings may be free for select groups; premium listings require paid subscriptions.

3. Payments & Subscriptions

  • All paid memberships and ad fees are securely processed through Stripe.
  • Recurring billing continues until the user cancels.
  • No prorated refunds are issued.
  • Payment disputes must be submitted in writing.

4. Advertising & Partnerships

  • Advertisers must meet the same ethical standards as members.
  • All advertisements must be truthful, lawful, and respectful.
  • PBN reserves the right to remove any ad that conflicts with these standards.

5. Directory Use & Conduct

  • Listings must be honest and not attempt to manipulate rankings or reviews.
  • Directory misuse (e.g., spam or harassment) may result in suspension.
  • PBN is not liable for any interactions between members and pet parents.

6. Intellectual Property & Branding

  • All website content, logos, membership badges, trust marks, and related materials are the intellectual property of PetBizNetwork or its licensors. All rights are reserved.
  • Unauthorized use, reproduction, scraping, or distribution of PBN materials is strictly prohibited.
Membership Badge Use & Removal
  • PetBizNetwork membership badges and branding may only be displayed while a membership is active and in good standing.
  •  If a membership is cancelled, expires, or otherwise becomes inactive for any reason, the member agrees to remove all PetBizNetwork badges, logos, and branding from their website, social media profiles, marketing materials, and public listings within ten (10) business days.
  •  Continued use beyond this timeframe is not permitted.

7. Privacy

  • Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy.

  • Payment information is processed through Stripe and is not stored by PetBizNetwork.

8. Communication

  • By using the Services, you consent to receive transactional and service-related communications related to your membership.
  • You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time.

9. Content Submission

  • All submitted content must comply with our Code of Ethics and applicable laws regarding intellectual property.
  • Business ideas, suggestions, or proposals submitted to PBN are considered non-confidential unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Refunds

  • Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.

11. Accessibility

12. Compliance & Legal Use

  • You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

  • Export and usage restrictions may apply.

13. Termination

  • PBN reserves the right to terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or ineligibility.

14. Warranties & Liability

  • The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

  • PBN disclaims all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law and is not liable for damages arising from use of the Services.

15. Force Majeure

  • PBN is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

16. Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify and hold PetBizNetwork harmless from claims arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

17. Waiver

  • Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

18. Language

  • These Terms are written in English. Translations are for convenience only.

19. Entire Agreement

  • These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Code of Ethics, constitute the entire agreement between you and PetBizNetwork.

20. Revisions

  • We may update these Terms at any time. Revised versions will be posted with a new effective date.

21. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia and applicable U.S. federal law.
